Jonathan Waters, Owner Yes, contrary to popular belief, he does exist and I am happy to report he is alive and well and very much involved with the Clacton office, where his many responsibilities include valuing, advertising and marketing as well as overseeing the whole operation. Jonathan was well qualified for entry into the estate agency profession having previously worked in the local planning department responsible for the development and construction of new homes. He also worked as a professional photographer. Having worked in a large corporate estate agency Jonathan became disillusioned with their true objectives and started his own business in 1991/92 to offer a level of customer and client service that cannot possibly be achieved by a much larger company. The lifelong campaign to see the public having a much higher opinion of the estate agency profession has seen Jonathan actively involved in new legislation, training and the qualification of his staff. He has been Chairman of the Guild of Independent Estate Agents and Chairman of the North East Essex Consumers and House Moving Panel. Motorcross, golf, cycling, running, photography, walking - just a few of the hobbies that Jonathan had to sacrifice when he started his own business and these days he devotes much of his limited spare time to his family and his young daughters Rosie and Hollie. |

Denise Clark

Denise joined us having seven years experience in a busy estate agency in Berkshire. Sales and office management have formed most of Denise's working career and she uses her experience to good effect at Jonathan Waters and is now firmly part of the furniture.
Denise enjoys the relationship building that working for an independent estate agency offers. Denise treats everyone that comes through the door as individuals and gets to know what they are looking for and what they wish to achieve and her no nonsense approach to just getting the job done results in both happy vendors and purchasers.
In her free time Denise is kept busy with her four grown up children and grandchildren and enjoys spending as much time as possible exploring the local area with them and her husband Steve. |

Katie Wood

Having moved from Walthamstow to Clacton ten years ago, she started her career in estate agency straight from school.
Having joined us in December 2005 Katie soon showed that she was not afraid of hard work and having fully learned the ropes from within was soon promoted through the ranks to sales negotiator.
Katie is an absolute hit with the Jonathan Waters client base combining hard work with her open nature and cheerful disposition.
When she's not mucking in, Katie can be found shopping and socialising with her friends and family and enjoys getting fit at the local aerobics class. |

Lynne Buxton

Lynne has over 20 years of estate agency experience in all areas of estate agency including valuing, sales negotiating and sales co-ordinating.
Largely concentrating on the sale progressing side Lynne organises her busy schedule to ensure that her extensive experience shines through whichever hat she is wearing at Jonathan Waters and her flexibility is second to none.
Lynne is kept equally as busy at home with her teenage family and partner and enjoys concerts, shows, socialising, horse riding, days out and somehow manages to fit in the odd aerobic class with Katie and Claire! |

Claire Hall

Starting at the bottom, it didn't take Claire long to get noticed. Her easy going manner with customers and cheerful disposition, not to mention sheer hard work, soon started to reap just rewards in terms of sales and achievement and she has become one of our most successful team members.
Now with over ten years experience under her belt there's not much Claire doesn't know about valuing and selling in the local area - and this is put to good use at Jonathan Waters.
Born in Clacton, Claire is enjoying the renovation of her new house with her husband and son, Jacob. In her free time Claire also enjoys horse riding and has been known to join Lynne and Katie in a team trip to the aerobic class! |

Having lived in Clacton for most of her life, Clare is now bringing up her own family here.
Clare has a well rounded and methodical outlook to her work which is utilised fully with us in her role backing the busy sales office with all the administrative tasks that keep us afloat!
In her free time Clare enjoys spending time with both her immediate and extended family, all of whom are local, and especially enjoys any time with her two young daughters.

Mother of six, Susan works with Ailsa at the Holland on Sea office.
Sue keeps an eye on the books for Jonathan alongside helping out the locals in Holland on Sea so utilises her booking keeping and accountancy skills.
Sue is also a dab hand at reflexology and massage, so it would be fair to say that Susan is very much “hands on”!
Her hobbies are dog walking caravanning, reading and studying alternative medicine. |

Ailsa swapped one seaside for another when she relocated from Brighton 6 years ago and hasn't looked back!
Bringing to us over 18 years experience within the financial administration industry ranging from large corporate banks to travel agents, Ailsa is a valuable tool at our Holland office with her bright nature and accountancy skills. Ailsa is currently studying at Colchester Institute to further her accountacy qualifications and if that doesn't keep her busy enough she also enjoys walking and cycling and yoga and spending time with her partner and two young daughters. |
