Market Improvement Leads to the Return of Estate Agency Staff

It’s fantastic news at Jonathan Waters Estate Agents - an estate agency in Ipswich, where the considerable and continual improvement in the local housing market has meant having to take on more staff to cope with increased demand.

Jonathan Waters, owner of Jonathan Waters Estate Agents, whose two offices market property in Ipswich, Bixley Farm, Rushmere, Kesgrave and Grange Farm areas as well as all the surrounding villages, is delighted.

Julie Clennell, who arrived back this week to the estate agency, will be manning the town centre office at Buttermarket.  Julie previously worked for Jonathan for a number of years and brings with her the best part of 30 years local estate agency experience, and as such represents a tremendous asset to the already highly experienced and effective team.

Julie, had had a number of conversations with Jonathan in the quieter market of last year and was delighted to be coming back to us.

Jenna Arnold is another returnee to the fold.  Jenna has been in estate agency in Ipswich since 1997 and therefore again adds a considerable depth of local knowledge and expertise to the team.  Jenna will be negotiating and valuing property in the area and has been with Jonathan since 2003 when the company first opened their town centre premises.

Tara Grace is the third returnee to the team.  Tara joined Jonathan Waters in 2007 and since her return has shown that her quiet and methodical but extremely focussed method of selling works, because she quickly broke company records within the team in a number of areas.

The returning of the three members of staff now means that Jonathan Waters Estate Agents’ Ipswich operation can boast a combined total of almost 150 years estate agency experience between them and, needless to say, anyone using our services for buying and selling will be in incredibly experienced hands – we really do know what we’re doing!.

Many of the staff that work for the company experienced the last property downturn of 1988 – 1993 and this, without any doubt whatsoever, helped us succeed during the extreme downturn in the housing market of late 2007 and 2008.  It enabled them/us to act far more swiftly and highly effectively in an incredibly tough market and as such the company are the absolute experts in handling the sale of property during an improving market.

So successful has the last few weeks been that the agency is quite literally selling out of certain types of property.

Jonathan was over the moon to be reporting the fact that sales of certain types of property at the cheaper end of the market, particularly modern two and three bed houses, are selling like hot cakes once again.

“In certain parts of the market it’s getting just like old times” he commented.
