Jonathan Waters

Born and bred and educated in the Ipswich area, Jonathan has lived here most of his life and has seen the massive changes and developments that have occurred in the area. Previously working in planning at Suffolk Coastal Council, he dealt with the original planning applications for the very same housing developments that are now so much a part of Ipswich. Having cut his teeth in corporate estate agency he founded Jonathan Waters Estate Agents in 1992 and is now one of the leading local agents renowned for its professional and honest approach.

Tara enjoys the challenges of the competitive market in Ipswich and ensures the team remain at the top of their game by motivating them and leading by example. Carolyn has been with us for over twelve years now, originally as a Sales Negotiator then movingonto the valuation side ten years ago. Carolyn believes in spending time with clients, is a great listener and she will never rush an appointment. She is a great empathiser with people's individual circumstances and the reasons behind why they are selling their home, often going that extra mile to ensure the needs of her clients are met.

Phil Le Grice

Phil has worked constantly in estate agency since 1982 and has a wealth of experience in all aspects of property. In fact, his property knowledge is remarkable and over the years has seen a good percentage of houses, bungalows and flats in Ipswich including the Grange Farm and Kesgrave areas where he sold many of those homes from new. A fully qualified Energy Assessor, Phil can also add Energy Performance Certificates to his achievements and enjoys the challenges this extra string to his bow brings.

John Knighton

John started in estate agency in 1969 and has remained in the industry ever since and therefore boasts a staggering 45 years' experience in estate agency, making him one of the most experienced estate agents in the area. Working in the higher end market, he brings to us the extensive, specialist knowledge and skill set required to market these executive and country homes. Add to that his down-to-earth approach on a day-to-day basis, John's an absolute asset to the team.

Having joined us as an office junior many years ago, Hannah went on to carve a career in accountancy before joining us again on the sales team. Her bright and bubbly nature has client warming to her up-front personality. Bringing her accountancy training to the mix means that Hannah is methodical and very organised in her approach to the hectic sales office and works at the speed of light to ensure that every promise she makes is kept.

Charmaine Sayer

Charmaine runs the company's Buttermarket office and comes with over eight years' experience. She has lived and worked in Ipswich all her life and joined the industry after a long spell in travel agency. Charmaine has worked in both the sales and lettings side of estate agency, both from the Ipswich town centre area and local offices, so was the ideal candidate for our Buttermarket office.

Operating from our highly successful town centre office at the Buttermarket her friendly, professional nature together with her wealth of knowledge makes her a key member of the team. Now fully up and running with our rentals department, Julie is the go-to estate agent for any buy-to-let investor.

Based at our town centre office at the Buttermarket, Gerald covers both sales and retnals annd has a thorough and professional approach to everyone he comes into contact with. His honest approach and down to earth attitude puts people at ease and he prides himself on the on-going relationships he builds.

Karen's experience in estate agency and conveyancing is massive and she brings this to our sales progression department often venturing where others fear to tread on behalf of our clients to get their sale or purchase through to successful completion. Determined and methodical, Karen's professional approach has built excellent relationships with the other agents in the town and the solicitors involved in the conveyancing process which holds her in good stead to get the job done.

Anne's knowledge of the house buying process is vast and her outgoing personality and sense of humour are often called upon in the highly stressful arena of sales progression, but also holds her in good stead when diving into the sales team environment. Always the first to put other people before herself, Anne really is one in a million! .

Incredibly organised and efficient, Diane ensures that our paperwork and compliance is kept 100% whilst working tirelessly to help Jane run the business on a day-to-day basis. We have come to depend on Diane over the last ten years - you can depend on her too!

Jane has over twenty years estate agency experience following a successful career in advertising and marketing. Jane worked alongside Jonathan for over fifteen years as his right hand woman and has since taken over the management of Jonathan Waters Estate Agents. Jane is very much a hands-on member of the team and is at home in any of the teams within Jonathan Waters Estate Agents together with producing the in-house marketing.

Holly is one of those all important Juniors who work hard behind the scenes to ensure the teams have everything they need to get on with their day-to-day agency tasks, sharing the job role with Lizzy. Holly is currently studying for her GCSEs and has achieved her Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award and is looking foward to the challenge that the Silver Award will bring.
